Felicia Penn is a registered diagnostic medical sonographer and ultrasound supervisor and the general breast and OB department at a leading New York City Hospital. She graduated at the top of her ultrasound class and was selected to complete her clinical internship in New York Presbyterian Hospital gain an experience from top professionals in the field. Before attending ultrasound school, she attended LaGuardia community college, because of her academic achievements she was inducted into the PHI THETA KAPPA Sorority honors  Society. Her path to the profession included balancing full-time work long study hours and raising two children during those intense years of  schooling. Her only days off were holidays a true testament  to the heavy demand she navigated to achieve her goals. That firsthand understanding of sacrifice deeply shapes her perspective today. Genuine  care, and support for students is what drives her continuously, aspiring new ways to champion them and create meaningful pathways throughout their  professional journeys. Driven by this dedication, She founded Gentle Touch Sono Lab to fill a critical void for graduates who lack a space to practice. It is a welcoming, hands-on learning environment, where students can build confidence and gain real world experience using modern ultrasound equipment.
